The weekend of 27th-29th July brought us another wonderful weekend of music at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2023 which was held at Belladrum Estate. Friends of Highland Music were delighted to be asked to run their ‘Come and Try’ Music Tent again. This was organised with the help of Fèisean Nan Gàidheal, Highland Branch of the Clarsach Society and Fèis Inbhir Narainn.
We enjoyed sharing music with hundreds of children and adults that came along to the ‘Queen of Hearts Tent’. We had accordions, fiddles, mandolins, ukuleles, bodhrans, guitars & clarsachs for everyone to ‘try’. It it always lovely to recognise the same children and families coming back to visit us each year! Some pictures capturing the feel of the event are shown below.
